Edit → Align opens a menu that provides several alignment commands. Most pertain when several controls are selected. See Multiple selection
Left | Adjusts the position of selected controls horizontally, aligning their left sides with that of the first selected control |
Center | Adjusts the position of selected controls horizontally, aligning their centers with that of the first selected control |
Right | Adjusts the position of selected controls horizontally, aligning their right sides with that of the first selected control |
Top | Adjusts the position of selected controls vertically, aligning their tops with that of the first selected control |
Middle | Adjusts the position of selected controls vertically, aligning their centers with that of the first selected control |
Bottom | Adjusts the position of selected controls vertically, aligning their bottoms with that of the first selected control |
Space Equally Horizontally | Makes the horizontal space between all selected controls equal |
Space Equally Vertically | Makes the vertical space between all selected controls equal |
Center horizontally in Window | Centers selected controls horizontally in the Window |
Center vertically in Window | Centers selected controls vertically in the Window |
Equal Width | Adjusts the width of selected controls to be the same as the first selected control |
Equal Height | Adjusts the height of selected controls to be the same as the first selected control |
Equal Both | Adjusts the width and height of selected controls to be the same as the first selected control |
Align to grid | Adjusts the left side, top, right side and bottom of selected control(s) so they are on grid lines |
The Window may be a Group, a Tab or the Form. For example, if a Button shows as being a child of a Group in Object Treeview, the Window is the Group.
