FS#240 - Tab Control: Focus and reorganizing pages
While Alt-Left and Alt-Right have worked for me, I have just spent several minutes trying to get Alt-Left to work for me.
Screen shot and .kxf file are attached.
I wish I could be clearer as to what is happening. Alt-Left seems not to be working because the focus is not on TabSheet1. I also notice that the Form is active but Koda is not: odd.
When I first tried Alt-Left and Alt-Right they didn’t work. Then somehow they did.
For moving page, it's tab should be active. But hotkeys work only when Tab control itself is selected, not the page (as on your screenshot). I don't know how to describe it better.
I see what you mean, but ...
I would have expected that Alt-Left and Alt-Right would move a particular Page left or right.
To put it another way: I was playing with four Pages. If I select the Tab control, which page does Alt-Left or Alt-Right move?
I have found that with the control focused, Alt_Left and Alt-Right change which Page is on top. But the Pages do not move left or right.
In my example, tab control bug.kxf, posted earlier this evening, the captions are, left to right: TabSheet3, TabSheet2 and TabSheet1. (How I managed to get them in reverse order, I don't know.)
Is this what you intend?
Is there any way of re-sequencing the tabs to get TabSheet1 on the left? (I must have done it somehow; I did not change the captions of the Pages from the defaults.)
I went back to previous versions of the Tab control page. The version from which I worked, that of 2010/08/04, says:
