FS#234 - Dummy: notify

I read in the doc:

The control will “notify” as normal

but do not see an OnClick property.

So how does the user tell a Dummy control to notify?

BTW I have done some googling on hot keys and accelerator keys. I had thought that the accelerator key only applies to menus but I now learn that a hot key is system wide while an accelerator key is application wide.

So strictly speaking, Object Inspector should replace Hotkey with AccelKey :-(

I also read that a Menu Access Key is a particular kind of Accelerator key.

This is special control, it's notify when user execute GUICtrlSendToDummy. But from point of creating cases or event functions, here probably should be default event. Maybe OnMessage or OnReceive.

This would be form-breaking change. So, not yet.

Either OnMessage or OnReceive would be OK. It would always be generated. So the Notification dialog box would not appear; rather Object Inspector would, in Event Mode, offer a default name for the function, which could be changed by the user.
