FS#191 - Multiple selection of controls

Where is this mentioned in the Help? I have not found it.

I find it a little surprising that the user shift-clicks to add a control to the selection.

In Explorer (and elsewhere), control-click adds a file to the selection; shift-click adds a range of files to the selection.

Just a thought.

This is hardcoded in ExtLib component. Maybe this is can be changed, but... better if this would be done at beginning, before the hundreds of people get the habit.

Perhaps, if it can be changed, and is changed, we can put a note about the change in the documentation in a section called What's New.

Realizing that Shift-Click is used to select a second control was part of my learning curve!

I can see that Shift-Click could have another, useful meaning, which would conform to Windows: if you have several radio buttons in a column, to select several of them, click the top one and shift-click the bottom one. This would select all the radios from first to last.

If this would change, this should be some really big release...

So we leave it as is, at least for a long while!
